Come learn the ancient art of batik painting with Master Batik Teacher Gloria Avner! Using wax as a resist, we will create layers of brilliantly graduated color and experience effects not possible with other painting techniques. Learn to use ink, wax and watercolor on delicate Japanese rice paper. You will be guided step-by-step through the creation of beautiful artwork. This workshop is for teens and adults.
