$10 members; $20 nonmembers; students freeThe Beatrix Farrand Society’s 2022 program season continues on Monday, July 18, at 4 p.m. via Zoom with a talk by Alicyn Smart titled “Identifying Plant Diseases.”
Alicyn Smart, a plant pathologist with the University of Maine Cooperative Extension and director of the Plant Diagnostic Lab, will discuss plant diseases, and resources and services offered by the Cooperative Extension’s newly built Plant Diagnostic Lab, a vital resource for disease identification throughout Maine. Smart will also speak of new and emerging plant disease issues in the state, and measures that gardeners can use to prevent common disease issues in gardens. You will receive a Zoom link prior to the program if you pre-register.
The cost for each program is $10 for members and $20 for nonmembers. Students are admitted free.
