Blue Hill Heritage Trust “The Story of Place” Program
January 18 @ 4:00 pm
Blue Hill Heritage Trust is launching a new series called “The Story of Place,” dedicated to the memory local historian Bob Slaven.
Stories will include properties protected by Blue Hill Heritage Trust, as well as others of cultural and historic significance to the Blue Hill Peninsula. “The Story of Place” will be a series of live online presentations with special guests sharing stories of how some of the trust’s most popular properties came to be.
The series will kick off on Monday, Jan. 18, with the release of a pre-recorded talk on the famous M.K. Chase Granite Quarries in East Blue Hill by Slaven.
This online series, which takes place via Zoom, will begin each day at 4 p.m. Participants will have the option to watch live and ask questions, or view the recordings afterward on the trust’s website.
