The “Meet the Makers” series continues at J. McVeigh Jewelry on Friday and Saturday, Aug. 5 and 6, from 11 a.m.-5 p.m. with a jewelry trunk show and personal appearance by Peter Schmid/Atelier Zobel at 27 W Main St., Stonington. A wine and cheese reception will be held from 3-5 on Aug. 5.
