New Surry Theatre’s season continues with “God of Carnage.”
“God of Carnage” by Yasmia Reza was first published in 2008. Two sets of parents meet to resolve a playground conflict between their two 11-year-old sons. They agree to discuss the incident in a civilized manner. This should go well, right?!
The play was translated by Christopher Hampton and was the winner of the 2009 Tony Award for Best Play and 2009 Olivier Award for Best Comedy. Join us as “God of Carnage” takes us on a journey where we learn that “we can’t control the things that control us.”
This show is intended for mature audiences. It has adult themes and contains explicit language.
