New Trail Opening Walk in Brooksville
May 16 @ 1:00 pm - 2:00 pm
Join Blue Hill Heritage Trust and Maine Coast Heritage Trust for a trail opening at our new property and restored fish ladder on May 16 from 1-2 p.m. Come talk with Hans Carlson and Ciona Ulbrich about the project and take in the beautiful views of the stream and wetland. There is a 1/3-mile trail with multiple accessibility features.
This trail takes you from a large parking lot, along a 6-foot-wide hard packed gravel path, to the Meadow Brook – Mill Stream that flows out of Parker Pond into the Bagaduce River and the site of a newly restore Alewife Fish Passageway. This trail has two easy-moderate inclines along the path.
Call 374-5118 for more information.
