Online Lecture on Ukraine

Longtime Ellsworth American international affairs columnist Marvin Ott will speak Thursday, Aug. 18, on the topic “Ukraine: Global Impacts and Implications.”

This is the ninth annual Ott lecture co-sponsored by The Ellsworth American and the Hancock County Democratic Committee.

The event will be from 1-2:15 p.m. via Zoom.

A Cranberry Isles summer resident, Ott is a professor at Johns Hopkins University and senior scholar at the Woodrow Wilson Center of the Smithsonian Institution. His “Offshore” column has appeared in The Ellsworth American for over 30 years.

There will be a time for questions and answers after the lecture.
