Online Talk: “Ethics 101”

Hospice Volunteers of Hancock County will host Dr. Sheena Whitaker, VP, senior physician executive, Northern Light Health, on Thursday, Aug. 11, from noon to
1:30 p.m. via Zoom, presenting on the topic “Ethics 101.”
Dr. Whitaker will examine the eight ethical principles including Respect for Autonomy, Informed Consent, Respect for Dignity and Justice, among others, that guide medical decision-making. Dr. Whitaker will also offer insights about our contemporary medical practice and the relevance of these principles.
