Deep in the woods of Crockett Cove, Rabbit Hill Farm overlooks eastern Penobscot Bay and the wind towers of Vinyl Haven. Homesteaders Cheryl and Flip spend their days farming, fishing and foraging for island foods, creating organic specialty foods and farm-to-table products. The Deer Isle Cider Co. crafts sparkling hard and sweet ciders from Deer Isle apples.
Watch the schooner parade, lobstermen checking their traps and osprey fishing in the cove on the expansive decks of their original Emily Muir designed cottage.
Guests will be treated to piping hot popovers with Rabbit Hill farm-to-table offerings like wild blueberry balsamic jam, carrot ginger marmalade, farm crock pickles, sweet & spicy beet hummus, lobster cheesecake and Deer Isle Sweet Cider.
The cost is $25 per person, tax included.
