Poetry Reading at Friend Memorial Library

Please join poets Christine Yurick and David Yezzi for a poetry reading on Tuesday, Aug. 2, at 4p.m. at the Friend Memorial Library.
Christine Yurick is the founding editor of Think Journal. She has edited the books Chester County Fiction and The New Cadet, as well as the photography books Over the Dunes, East Coast Atlantic Beaches, Sailboats, Martha’s Vineyard and The Healing Power of Water, all by Michael Kahn. Her chapbook, At the End of the Day and Other Poems, will be released in 2022 by Kelsay Books.
David Yezzi’s latest books are Black Sea (2018) and More Things in Heaven: New and Selected Poems (2022). He is the editor of The Swallow Anthology of New American Poets (2009), foreword by J.D. McClatchy. His verse play Schnauzer, produced by the Baltimore Poets Theatre, is available from Exit Books. A former director of the Unterberg Poetry Center of the 92nd Street Y in New York, he teaches in the Writing Seminars at Johns Hopkins.
