Self-Acupressure Workshop at Beth C. Wright Center
July 27 @ 2:00 pm - 3:00 pm
Taking a step toward self-care and relaxation is always beneficial. The Beth C. Wright Cancer Resource Center is offering an opportunity to learn a safe and easy way to perform self-acupressure and bring your energy into balance, help reduce stress and encourage well-being.
On Wednesday, July 27, from 2-3 p.m., the center is offering a self-acupressure workshop with Mary Cline at the center at 23 Commerce Park in Ellsworth. During this workshop participants will learn a method for acupressure that they can practice on themselves, along with other energy practices, to support wellness.
Acupressure is a healing system that uses the same points as acupuncture through healing touch without the use of needles. By applying pressure to these points with thumbs, fingers and palms, participants will learn to find relief and help energy flow in the body. In the workshop, Mary will discuss specific points for issues that you may bring to the session.
These practices may be done seated or standing. Feel free to attend to help improve your well-being in a loving, fun atmosphere. Please be prepared to wear a mask while in the Beth C. Wright Center building.
