Shaw Institute Speaker Series

The Shaw Institute is pleased to present Tod Hardin as our next featured expert in our continuing Summer Speaker Series.
Tod is the chief operating officer and co-founder of Plastic Oceans International – a nonprofit dedicated to ending plastic pollution – as well as being an award-winning documentary filmmaker. He will provide an overview of Plastic Oceans, including its efforts to empower local, community-based action as a means to create systemic change worldwide.
Tod will also highlight the exciting collaboration between Plastic Oceans and the Shaw Institute, including the addition of Blue Hill to their expanding BlueCommunties initiative and the opportunities that this presents.
