Sustainability and Technology Community Discussion

All are welcome to join the Jesup Memorial Library on Tuesday, Jan. 19, at 7 p.m. to share your thoughts about sustainability and technology at the library during a community-based strategic planning session. This discussion will look at possible applications of both technology and sustainability for both the planned addition to our building as well as the Jesup‘s public service. A few of the questions the Jesup is looking to answer include: What are current and near-future technology and sustainability trends that might be appropriate for the library to incorporate? When designing the makerspace, what would go in it, how would it operate and with whom would we partner? Beyond the makerspace, what other technology/sustainability services should the Jesup offer its community?

After the initial meeting, there will be opportunities for small working groups to dig more deeply into specific topics that are identified during this session.
