Talk on Ghana at GSA

A talk titled “Travels to Ghana” is scheduled for Wednesday, July 27, at 7 p.m. in the Esther Wood Room at George Stevens Academy.

All are welcome to join Leslie Clapp and Blaise deSibour on a 16-day tour of this small West African country. The couple traveled with Rockjumper Worldwide Birding Adventures in November 2021 and had encounters with rare birds such as the mythical white-necked rockfowl and elegant Egyptian plover.

Experience the jungle from more than 100 feet up on the world-famous Kakum canopy walkway, admire some of the world’s most beautiful butterflies and watch in amazement as an elephant saunters out of the bush and passes by, mere feet from the group on an afternoon bird walk.
