Talk on Moose in Hancock

On Thursday, July 7, at 6:30 p.m., the Hancock Woman’s Club will be hosting a lecture and slide show by Gerry Monteux at the Hancock Community Center.
A longtime resident of Hancock, Monteux is a professional nature photographer who travels the length and breadth of Maine to capture images of its wildlife and scenery. But by far his favorite subject is the beloved and beleaguered icon of the north, the moose.
All are welcome to attend the talk. Refreshments will be served afterward.
The Hancock Woman’s Club sponsors scholarships and children’s programs in the area as well as holding community events and maintaining the Community Center for public use. It is open to all women of Hancock County.
