Tech Workshop at Blue Hill Library: Digital Card and Newsletter Design

Blue Hill Public Library Assistant Director Hannah Cyrus will lead a workshop featuring easy graphic design tools anyone can use online to create a card or newsletter, as well as email distribution services to send them. These tools could be used to create a festive holiday card to print and mail to friends and family, an appealing email update about the past year, or any kind of digital card or newsletter for any season.
The presentation will include information about Canva, an online design tool, as well as email services like Constant Contact and MailChimp. Afterward there will be time for participants to ask questions and work on their own projects, with assistance available from Hannah.
This event is free of charge, but advance registration is required. Participants may bring their own computer or device, or use one provided by the library. Please use the “Notes” field while registering to indicate if you would like to use one of the library’s computers.
