February 15 @ 4:00 pm
The Blue Hill Public Library will be hosting a “retro” teen movie, screening the 1987 fantasy adventure comedy film “The Princess Bride” on Saturday, Feb. 15, at 4 p.m. The film is a fairy tale adventure about a beautiful young woman and her one true love, who must battle the forces of evil in the mythical kingdom of Florin to be reunited with each other.
Teens of all ages are invited to this hilarious, romantic, action-packed adventure on the big screen in the Howard Room, with a suggested age range of 13 and up. Teens and their families are encouraged to research the film in advance to decide whether it is appropriate. The website commonsensemedia.org is one suggested source of information for families. Popcorn will be served!
