Previous Elected Public Office(s) Held: Bucksport Town Council (one year)
I have lived and worked in Bucksport all my life. I enjoyed my years growing up in this town. I played sports at Bucksport High School, was married and raised my two children here. Having served as Bucksport town clerk for over 26 years, I recently was elected to the Bucksport Town Council. I love this town and have dedicated my life to serving it.
I have an interest in taking my experience and passion to Augusta to bring common sense to public policy on behalf of the citizens of Bucksport and Orrington.
Bucksport has seen great change in its economic base over the recent years. With the new businesses and growth at the Bucksport Industrial Park, AIM’s redevelopment of the Bucksport mill site and in our downtown, we truly are the best example of how a mill town can rebound.
My top priority for serving you in Augusta is to preserve our physical and financial safety while securing a strong educational and economic base for good paying jobs. In these uncertain times, I will also work on protecting our vulnerable senior population, working on health care issues, supporting our ceterans and creating a stronger educational system.
