I am running because I am convinced my votes in the Maine Senate will be in the best interest of Maine, its citizens and residents. I will work to improve the lives of our veterans and working people, to make certain all Maine citizens have access to quality and affordable health care, to make certain our laws are equitable and conducive to a diverse society, to make certain Maine invests in small businesses, occupational training, and that we install the needed infrastructures, high speed broadband included, to maintain and advance our state as a leader in the 21st Century.
I believe my background in forestry will be of value to folks in District 8, who rely on forestry, my background in lobster aquaculture valuable to our fishing communities, my years working in tourism and hospitality, and my years working in biomedical research also have all given me a lifetime of experience in Maine that provide me with valuable, personal knowledge of District 8’s industries and traditional lifestyles.
