I believe in representing the entire community – not just those from a particular party, group or town. I am exhausted with the partisanship that has crippled our democratic government at every level. I am not running to promote or disparage any political party, but I understand fully that an independent candidate does not have a fair shot in today’s political arena. I believe in principles over politics. Our state needs people in every party to return to respectfully listening, understanding, and working together to find solutions to the issues facing our state. We have an opportunity to show America how a civil, thoughtful, and representative government can succeed. I love Maine and want to leave a better state for my children. It is time to put common sense and community back into our democracy and people and principle over politics. If elected, I will make every effort to represent all of District 135 and all those that call this great place home. “As Maine goes, so goes the nation”
