The Ellsworth Planning Board will meet on Wednesday, November 29, 2017, at 8:00 a.m. at 124 Bangor Road in Ellsworth (formerly New Land Nursery & Landscaping) to conduct a site visit. The purpose of the Site Visit is to orient the Planning Board to the physical characteristics of and the anticipated changes to the site resulting from Atlantic Landscape and Construction’s proposal to build five self-storage buildings to include a total of about 300 storage units and to construct four residential duplexes (total of eight units) located on 9.5 acres of land (Tax Map/Lot: 50/68).

Notice is hereby given that in accordance with the Judgment of Foreclosure and Sale entered June 1, 2017, in the action entitled Goodwin W. Wiseman Rollover Individual Retirement Account, Machias Savings Bank, Custodian v. Stuart H. Cullum by the Hancock District Court, Docket No. RE-2016-13, wherein Court adjudged the foreclosure of a mortgage granted by Stuart H. Cullum to Bar Harbor Trust Services, custodian of the Goodwin W. Wiseman Rollover IRA, dated February 11, 2002, and recorded in the Hancock County Registry of Deeds in Book 3271, Page 26. The mortgage was then assigned to Machias Savings Bank, as Custodian of the Goodwin W. Proposed Changes to the Lamoine Building & Land Use Ordinance

The Lamoine Planning Board will hold a Public Hearing regarding proposed amendments to the Building and Land Use Ordinance, Section 4(I)(2) – Lot Standards and Structure Setback Table.   The Public Hearing will take place on Monday, December 4, 2017 at 6:30 PM at the Lamoine Town Hall, 606 Douglas Highway, Lamoine, ME.
A copy of the proposed amended section is on file at the Lamoine Town Office during regular business hours.  The proposed amendment will also be posted on the town website: www.lamoine-me.gov  It is anticipated that the final amendment will be voted upon at the annual town meeting in March, 2018.
